I remember Hitoma Iruma said somewhere (maybe in an afterward or blog post) that he wants to keep Adachi and Shimamura as "publishing" and publish a volume when he feels like it, sort of like Tezuka Osamu's Phoenix

It was in the afterword. They wanted to get to volume 14 as a stopping point.

That's good to hear :) I always thought that volume twelve was going to be the final volume.

Not that I really mind; as with all things good, arguably the best GL LN to come out in the last decade can (and should) only run for so long.
