According to the official X account for the anime series and PR TIMES, the High School DxD LN volumes, including spin-offs, have over 7.8 million copies in circulation worldwide (including ebooks). This would make the series a part of the top 25 highest selling LN series of all time according to stats from Wikipedia.  Also, according to PR TIMES, a PV for the new spin-off series Junior High School DxD is in production, and the VA for Rias will be voicing it. | The announcement was actually supposed to be today. It seems that the circulation number was the announcement. But this tweet in particular was interesting. | Hoping Ishibumi just finishes the main story. I mean it feels like it's been dragging big time for short while now trying to bridge the gap of events that occur leading up to what we know is to come courtesy of ExE. Aren't we about to deal with Machine Gods now? |
