| As an anime only for the mentioned series my perspective on this is quite slim. However I don't think that it's "killing the mangas". Most of that dialogue is coming from the pre-established hyper communities of the material. If anything it's gotten more people to pay attention to the manga/manwha. I know more than a couple people who have started reading CSM and Solo Leveling because of the released anime. I can't see how either adaptation for Chainsaw Man or Solo Leveling was bad enough to harm the series. Some of the more hardcore fans may be speaking negatively about them but the regular audience is widened because of the anime. Of course most people would've preferred longer seasons but that's just the way it is unfortunately. Chainsaw Man is getting a movie and the Solo Leveling has a 2nd season announced already. As long as the content keeps coming the IP is doing well. |
