| Why? What does MAL think this anime is? Because I thought it was a movie. And movies become "complete" the day it premieres. So why can't I change the status and set it to "Completed"? It's been nearly a month since the movie was released online. Someone please leave a reply when it’s possible to set this as Completed. TIA Edit- You can finally set this as "Completed" now. | From what I can see the only reason it hasn't been marked as completed is that the official JP sources have never specified an episode count for the season so MAL can't verify it is actually complete. None of the official social media accounts nor the website have said it is finished and even the JP Wikipedia lists it as still ongoing. Episode 1 aired on DMM TV in Japan on February 23 and it released weekly since then with episode 4 presumably releasing 2 days ago. If any more episodes are to come then we can assume it will happen next week, but there is equally no confirmation or indication that this will happen either. Assuming no episode comes out then we can assume that the database will list this as complete within the next week or two, although there is still a small chance that there is more to come. None of this excuses the fact that the mods have remained silent and completely unhelpful despite everyone's confusion, especially given the lack of info anywhere online. |

| This is based on the western movie airing, in Japan (and Saudi Arabia) this series is airing weekly as an ONA. MAL is probably waiting until after ep 4 of that to see if that will be the end or if there will be more eps. https://myanimelist.net/forum/?goto=post&topicid=1510673&id=70663226 but i think the airing in japan is already over too so ye why? lol |
