I read the manga a while ago, and don't exactly remember the pacing of the upcoming things that happen. At what point of the story will the show end/what major event that I might remember are we getting as a season finale?

I don't want to spoil here so I won't reveal to much since you already read the manga. Season 2 will most likely end on Chapter 113.

Considering what is shown in the OP and ED, we'll for sure get Ichikawa's confession (chapter 110).

So, given that it'd be weird to not include Yamada's confession as well, I'd say that we'll get Ichikawa's in ep 12 and Yamada's in ep 13.
Given that chapter 115 is the beginning of a new arc, this season will end either on 113 (Yamada's confession) or 114 (the aftermath)

Episode 8 ended in chapter 94 so we still got about 20 chapters left. Since we got 5 episodes left the pacing will be about 4 chapters per episode (pretty normal for this series) so I don't think we'll have any weird pacing or anything.

i think manga will end at 113 or 114, because it's like 13 epds, and season 1 covered like 57 chapters , with only 12 episodes.with having 13 in season 2 makes me think will cover 114.

Since the arcade of red arches is shown, I guess it will wind up with Ichikawa's confession.

Then Season 3 can kick off with her reply and the big Onion Soup scene.

@Greentreefrog With the manga being like 12 pages every 2 weeks it'll take at least another year or more to have enough content for a third season + production time of 1 1/2 years. I'd be a LOT happier if they ended with 113 which would be the best ending possible with the content at the moment and just left a season 3 up whenever there's enough content or demand for it. My point is that 113 will hit hard but only if it's not been 2 1/2 years after we've seen 110 adapted, it would reduce the impact.

Each episodes covers 4 chapters in the manga. They’ll probably end the season with the school field trip and confession. Then it’ll be a couple of years until we get a season 3, by that point the manga might have been done or close to being done ( unless the author keeps the story going when they reach high school).

Likely scenario is 113-114.

115 is pretty much the beginning of a new arc and it would be weird to stop there, would probably be good to start here for a new season once enough content is out

@Greentreefrog At this point there's five episodes left and there isn't enough content to fill it if they end at 110. It's pretty obvious that they will end at 113/114
