Questions that i concluded after watching this

1. Is it a doctor responsibility to decide whether a person is good or bad?
2. Do we have the rights to punish someone because of their wrongdoings?

1. No, not at all...everyone deserves healthcare. Can you imagine that if every time someone came into an ER, the doctor had to do a full investigation of the character of the patient? It would be a disaster.

sick = help

that's all that the doc needs to be concerned with

2. I suppose we share that right as a society.
Freedom =/= freedom from consequences.

1. No, a doctor has no business making moral judgements on patients. They just need to do their job.

2. Yeah, there’s a reason why the concept of law and law enforcement has been around since about 3000 BC. It’s needed to maintain civilization.

Foreman: Aren’t there better ways to spend our time?
House: Good question. What makes a person deserving? Is a man who cheats on his wife more deserving than a man who kills his wife?
Foreman: Uh… yeah. Actually, he is.
House: What about a child molester? Certainly not a good guy, but he didn’t kill anybody. Maybe he can get antibiotics, but no MRIs. What about you? What medical care should you be denied for being a car thief? Tell you what: the three of you work out a list of what medical treatments a person loses based on the crime they committed. I’ll review it when I get back.

The less interesting, legal and generally practical aspect would say no. Doctors shouldn't be in the business of deciding who they save. They wouldn't be able to have enough information before their expertise is required. However, if you are a doctor and Hitler comes to you for help, I think you should definitely deny or even kill him while performing the procedure. The ends justify the means.

I mean if you still need people to answer this you should read again. Saving wrong person once would get more people killed in the long run, in johan's case it's 42+ people. Just be a good person, so when you need help people won't hesitate about helping you or not.
