the journey of many pokefans started with this movie, so it sure is impactful in a sense

personally it was a great experience

Despite all its flaws I still think it is an incredible movie. I personally think a lot of the Pokemon movies are very good but the first is definitely in the top five

As Long as the Sun, the moon, and the Earth exist, everything will be alright.

This film is truly iconic. Years later, there's so much I still remember. Donphan rolling in outta nowhere, first proper Dragonite appearance, entire Mewtwo backstory, Mew vs Mewtwo, Ash literally attempting to punch a God, the entire fight of the clones. A classic indeed.
