 So there's MAPPA STAGE EVENT going to happen today(I.e.21st May) in which they gonna talk about there upcoming projects like everything they are doing rn and all the new shows they gonna adapt next.

I mean they literally announced season 3 will be happening, earlier this year. We just don't know when, so waiting on that.

They never said they weren't or were adapting it. The Official OPM twitter just said to not believe any other source apart from them, they also never denied or confirmed it.

You do know there’s a reliable leaker who said it could be bones as well. And as a huge OPM fan, I wish it’s bones, especially the mob psycho team.

Bones would respect the tone and animations more than MAPPA imo. Not saying MAPPA is bad but they just have a big problem with tone adaptation.

@Confused_100 "Big problem with tone adaptation" my ass. Attack on Titan, Dorohedoro, Chainsaw Man, JJK. All of these were great or at least good enough adaptations.

Chainsaw man had the worst tone adaptation out of all of them. To me that’s its biggest problem and why Japan didn’t like it as much.

Tone adaptation is like the setting, how serious are characters, how people react to an event, etc…. The anime clearly wanted to be more serious than manga was. Also how they tried to just focus on western, that’s not a good thing either. I know Fujimoto is influenced by it but you should get what I am saying at this point.

i get it, but just like i never saw complains about the background or a blue sky before the mha season i don't remember being "tone adaptation" a complain that i read a lot on forums and discussions.
