So I wanted to watch SLAM DUNK for a long time the only reason I haven't watched this yet is because the anime is not fully adapted but that doesn't matter.
I searched online till what chapter it's been adapted and it says till 189th also the movie THE FIRST SLAM DUNK adapted chapters 223 to 286(the last game) but what about the chapters that were left?
The question I wanted to ask is should I watch the slam dunk series then read the manga or just drop the show and read the whole manga.
I really appreciate the time and effort you all gave me for the answer

Watch the anime and then finish it off with the manga
As seen on the trailer of the last match the animation is 🙂🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd stick to the manga. I kinda regret starting with the anime coz I almost dropped on few occasions but once I switched to the manga it turned into one of the best things I've ever read period.

The anime is slooooow (even slower than Naruto), incompleted and the ending is filler, so I would read the manga directly.

1.anime adapted first 198 chapters
2. i watched anime then pick up manga but that was before first slam dunk came out

So toei animation started uploading slam dunk on their YouTube channel and I seen a clip of one of the episodes and it caught my attention,looked funny. Was always into that 90s Era of anime art style and music. Is this a anime other people and I should watch? Or would I have a better time just reading the manga?
