I agree skip the first two if you’re unwary of whether you’ll like the show or not, ep 3 is pretty good indicator of the vibe of the show since it actually starts at the beginning

I'd say yeah, episode 3 served better as an introduction. You can always go back to watch the first 2 episodes after. That's unless you really dislike skipping filler episodes

Gintama's fillers are one of the best in anime so you don't wanna miss them.

If you're determined that you're going to watch this show you can start at episode 1. It doesn't matter that much.

Just skip them. You pretty much won’t understand anything and it’ll just be boring and will create an unnecessary confusion.

I enjoyed the first two episodes but yes you can, episode 3 and onward properly introduce the characters

The first two episodes are the best introduction to the show. Get confused, embrace the chaos, accept all the gimmicks and allow it to surprise you. DO NOT BE AFRAID... Consume the show the way the creators intended it to be consumed.
Or,
if you are planning to go skippy-picky with the fillers throughout, then I advise you to drop the anime right here and now because it is not for you.

Absolutely skip those first two episodes, Gintama is one of my favorite shows and those first two episodes alone almost made me drop it because they won't make any sense to a newcomer who doesn't understand the character dynamics. you can go back and watch them later

I think after you should watch them cuz that's the order the creators wanted you to see it cuz you won't be coming back after Benizakura arc or beyond.....

The first two episodes will probably leave you confused if you’re approaching the series blindly since it just straight up puts you into the middle of the story, with a bunch of characters and inside jokes that will take about 10 to 20 episodes for you to be introduced to in order to understand.

Chronologically, it’s better to start at Ep 3. The first two eps are one of those things that you’ll enjoy more after having watched the series more.

Why you want to skip it? There are 370 episodes and I don't think skipping 2 episodes out of 370 makes any sense.

Like probably the only two episode I would skip but like all filler in Gintama is just spectacular 👌👌
