When I see people talk about this season, they always complain about the animation but I want to know if people think it's rushed since this season adapts 50 really long chapters as opposed to season one's 36

The pacing was indeed a common critic , but it really got overshadowed by the overall stiff Animation.

Even though the chapters are long they can be read in like 5 minutes. Cause it’s mostly just art with little words.

They literally cut outs almost chapters worth of material to condense the season, it was 100% rushed

We all know the art wasn’t as good as the first season, and as opposed to the 36 chapters in the first season this one was 50 chapters in the same amount of time. realistically I think it Will do a good job at setting up the third season. And I think whoever watched one punch man that isn’t A complete weeb would actually enjoy the second season more than the first one.

i haven't read the manga, so i don't fully know if it was rushed or not, but the material just felt boring to me, like it wasn't finished yet still ended. the only thing worth remembering were the king episode, the monster turning items and that there was a bigger villain on their way
efit: oh and the psychic sister ofc (forgot her name though)

First of all, they had to animate 50 chapters in a timespan which was much less than the first season, and also the animation wasn't bad, the composition was trash which made it look bad

yeah, the pacing was hella rushed
but nobody really points it out too much because the production quality seems like a bigger issue to most

I agree because OPM was my first anime and the second season was great in my opinion cuz of the character development of garou and king

OPM started as a comedy and continued as a battle shounen. It is a parody that became the thing that it had been making fun of. Before sea king arc it was a 10/10 anime, after that arc it became mediocre battle shounen with comedically stupid characters that try to evoke serious drama. It is not rushed, the core idea has been ruined. Imo, of course.
