| i see where you coming from comparing those two, since they got similar post-apocaliptyc "uncover the mystery, learn about true enemy etc". but they're mostly different genres graphics and animation - eighty six, no diff characters writing and development - aot, and you cant argue about it fights - for me its 86, was epic af every time, and combined with magnificent cgi. and aot havent got much fights anyway romance line - aot, no diff. i think there's no need to read LN to understand what will it be in the season 2 and so on, the last episode of part 2 is enough, totally unbased. aot on the other hand got some sense in mcs relationship, even though its not shown obviously. plot - dunno about that, cuz i am not LN reader and only seen the two parts, anime had offered by now. i equally like both, but by now for me aot's 1-3 seasons mystery and plot twist wins over 86's, i dont put 4th season in consideration, since there plot took 180 and couldnt be compared to eighty six anymore. p.s. i repeat that i like both series equally, no hate involved, simply an opinion. though i would like to know the point of this thread, if possible |
