| Many fans do love Part 3 the most. It's the most iconic work with the most iconic character of the entire franchise. My second most favorite is Part 3 (first being Part 7) because I'm more into the story in which the characters go onto a trip. But some other fans may find a more slice-of-life story would be better and the stand system is more developed, so they like the later parts more. |
| It's a fan favorite part. Going back I can enjoy it but I would say it's my least favorite part now. It's experimental due to the new power system and villain week format but has really piss poor pacing compared to the rest of the other parts. And even though JoJo is formulaic, the villain of the week felt the worst here imo. The characters still weren't up to par as every other part after it and and nothing really felt that fleshed out. |

In terms of manga chapters part 3 is shorter than part 4, and parts 5 and 6 are about as long as long as part 3. But because there are more fights in Part 3 and the anime seems to want fights to last at least one episode, the anime ended up being longer. |
