S2 is like half the story which end abruptly without arc completion. u cannot compared it with s1 even after ignoring animation point. But the storyline seems to be better (more buildup) if was actually complete

S1 elevated what the manga did and the manga is one of the best there is rn. I actually much prefer the content and story adapted in s2 and garou is so much fun to watch/read but s2 didn’t do the story justice with some lacklustre animation and some rushed content. For instance the suiryu vs saitama fight is so sick in the manga but it looks pretty bland in the anime

S1 is hands down the best season the animation was supreme and it was just a really enjoyable experience. S2 on the other hand was okay-ish I got bored so fast tho because the pacing was so slow.

S1 is better even though it seemed like a one season blow up anime but it was actually lit.

Then there is season 2 with a storyline but rushed. There is also the fact that Garo( the hero hunter who is supposed to be potentially Saitama’s opp) is just being beaten by Saitama without him even trying or knowing that he is the hero hunter so … yea season 2 is just ass thanks to all these events taking place and the season 2 to director

Probably season one sadly. Season 2 focused too much on Garo and not too many exciting fights. Season one had plenty and constant excitement and lols. The sea king battle and the alien fights were amazing

i liked season 1 in anime but season two of the manga is awesome!! its better in the manga form i think season 1 of anime was a little better than the manga but season 2 compared to manga was lacking something

I think season 2 had a cool villain Garou and by focusing on other characters it shows how Saitama impacted and influenced many of the characters.

i personally don't like episodic storytelling so i definitely prefer s2 though s2's abrupt end hurts it but i still prefer s2

So there's no "both" option in the poll huh...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I love both, i think they complement each other.
S1 has godly flights and comedy but little plot
S2 has and intriguing plot and good comedy although no fights as good as S1 imo

I think S2 is severely overhated, but S1 still just seems way better in terms of overall quality.

My main problems with S2 are the animation and with how abruptly it ended, just as it seemed like things were about to get extra good. I guess that the comedy was also better in S1, but honestly, not by that much.

Just hoping that S3 is closer to S1 in terms of quality so that the One Punch Man hype can return. I would hate for one of my favorite shows to go so downhill.

I would say S1, don't get me wrong I love S2 but S1 is a classic. season 2 is awesome it shows different heroes and the Hero Hunter Garou more monster and where they are coming from. I'm excited for season 3 soon 🙌🏼

season 1 in my opinion just had better animation and felt more complete while the use of motion blur was used more in season 2 and it felt like it wasn't it's own season. it felt like more of the first 12 episodes to a 24 episode season. but I do think once season 3 comes out that season 2 will be better just because the whole monster king thing will be put to rest (I don't know that it will I haven't read the Manga) and will feel complete. but season 2 had a better opening and ending theme.

S1 is obviously better than S2 because of natsume basically but doesn’t mean that S2 was that bad or it was lackluster either since it didn’t adapt all of its arc so it was inevitable that it’ll be looked as lackluster and besides the differences between production values which was inevitable but it still didn’t affect my enjoyment for it and still holds up in its own way and the director of S2 actually tried to carry it with what he have of staff available despite the limitations of schedule which he was given by the producers of the anime (TV Tokyo , Bandai Namco Arts and Shueshia) despite that S2 still have a better production than most current anime airing that followed it

S2 for me is a weird stop in the story, where nothing major happens.
Unlike S1, where the story constantly progressed, even without the fights (which are also better).
