yea i agree with you bones would be the best pick rn. Seeing how they animated the fight scenes in hero aca, kekkai sensen and bungo I personally think they r the best pick. Also they nail the animation to show a character is going rlly fast

Nah. WIT doesn't have nearly the connections that MAPPA does.

Honestly, though, MAPPA is probably going to be taking up OPM season 3.

At this point I don't Care which studio does it as long as it stays at s2 level or above. S2 is a obvious downgrade from s1 but I'd still watch again. It would be dope to have like kyotoanimation / ufotable for some of the crazy animation that would be needed for upcoming stuff tho.

Wouldn't it be good enough if bones worked on it? maybe you people don't know, but the studio matters very little for the animation. In fact, the thing which decides the art style, pacing , look and feel of the show is up to the art director, key animators, producer etc. The team working on season 1 was really, really GOOD. However, if we get this team back together , no matter the studio, the animation will be as good as or better than s1.

Well, the studio decides on the staff , yes. But, look at the new upcoming anime "Yofukashi no Uta" by studio LINDENFILMS. You know what this studio is infamous for? It's for the Beserk anime adaptation of 2016-17!! And most anime that they have made before looks mid at best. Comparing those to the visuals of their new project, you'd be surprised by difference in production quality.

I said all this because people tend to forget that the animation is made by the animators themselves, rather than game developers working on the games as the company wants them to.

Not happening they’re going full steam ahead on demon slayer, until they finish the entire series as fast as they can. They don’t want to mess up like Attack On Titan (AOT) did originally- through removing the hype present through releasing season 2 of AOT, 5 years after season 1.

Idk the details concerning Mappa's staff and manpower, but they undoubtedly have their hands full at the moment. Maybe in the distant future when they clear their plate a little more. Then again, a season 3 announcement would probably happen in the distant future anyway.

Ideally it would be great to have Madhouse pick it up again. But if not, I'd actually like for Bones to take over. If you've seen the My Hero movies then you'd know they could handle one punch man no problem. And I don't even have to mention mob psycho- which also was made by the same creator as one punch man, right??

I know you seem to dislike JC staff, but honestly I don’t think they would do a bad job- like the animation and visuals of the Konosuba film were both amazing and stunning, but maybe that’s because it was movie level production so we can’t really compare it to their normal series. Idk.

It would be cool if Bones animated the webcomic after Mob season 3, but sadly that's never going to happen and we have to wait for the current arc in the manga to finish.

Mappa is not a good choice IMHO, Jc staff with a good schedule is enough.

Best case scenario would be the return of the old director.
