i've wanted to rewatch the haruhi series (especially the incredible endless 8 arc, I love binging that arc), but it's been less then a year since I've seen it so nah.

Yeah, it's already part of my tradition to watch this movie every December. I do it every 18th of December from my time zone.

It's part of my Christmas anime rewatch along wit Tokyo Godfathers, Love Hina Christmas special and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz

As someone how legitimately HATED the show, I would say the movie is the best piece of Haruhi media and stands pretty well on its own (although obviously the context of the show helps). Maybe I'll rewatch it in a couple of years time.
