Why they changed studio after the first great season by madhouse??

1 st season of OPM was banger by madhouse,so why they go to j.c. staff for second season,I have no problem with j.c. staff but madhouse work suits more for action heavy anime or for shounen because they have much experience in that field but in case of j.c. staff they make more anime like comedy,slice of life, Psychological,drama etc like more of a story based where action is not the main focus so they have less experienced in that,and I think that's the main reason S2 animation looks bit off(it's not bad but not as great when you comparison it with first season )

Ratings doesn't matter only enjoyment does.
Masterpiece or mid, generic or fresh,best or worst are all subjective
Eren is goat,and aot is still a masterpiece (eg.subjective opinion)

Madhouse never make season 2 for all anime(exception for overlord), sometimes they just made movie like hxh and death note

The thing about season 1 is that the director, Shingo Natsume and the animators that worked on it were mostly freelancers, so they weren't permanent employees of Madhouse. Season 2 was almost immediately announced after season 1 ended, but Natsume was busy and a year passed before they announced the studio change and director for season 2. Baffling decision really since in total it took 3 years for OPM season 2 to air anyways. They should have waited but it is what it is.

You’re completely delusional if you think s2 of opm was either better animated or had a better op. Season 2 is entirely carried by the source material it was adapting, not its production. Even the fucking director regretted how below standard it was compared to season 1 and said it was sadly due to production issues and a small timeframe that it wasn’t as good as he wanted it to be. If you want to say it was better plot wise then sure go ahead since it does cover more interesting story, but you literally don’t have eyes if you think the art/animation is at all even close to season 1. The OVA had better animation than the entire season lmao.

Tbh I think THE SECOND SEASON actually shouldn't be animated in the first place. Because it couldn't finish the monster arc properly according to the manga. 2nd Season ended in a cliffhanger which is quite disappointing. No offense the adaptation was bad I had to READ THE MANGA ALL OVER BECAUSE JC STAFF SKIPPED A LOT OF. CHAPTERS! Plus that I'm dissatisfied from this Season as well. The last episode scene Simply makes my blood boil!

2. I heard that Madhouse didn't agree to animate season 2 because first they were busy with Overlord Series. SECOND the director of the first Season of OPM Shingo Natsume was also busy in another anime project.
Most of the Sources say that Madhouse refused because they wanted the Original Director of Season 1 to animate Season 2. But many fans believe that Madhouse simply sidelined the 2nd Season which is also a possibility. CONSIDERING THE FACT WE STILL DON'T HAVE A 2ND SEASON OF NGNL!

Lets see what Madhouse plans to do next. IMO the Studio doesn't matter as long The director and the original Crew from Season 1 comes back. I'LL RATE IT 10/10 FOR SURE!

Btw I hope Season 2 a remake from the original director Shingo Natsume and crew. Just my opinion
