Have watched first 3 seasons dub and to the top sub. But dub was superior imo.

Both are good
But the dub's comedy is gold lmao. Highly recommend to watch it in dub

I'll perfer dub but sub is not bad. I've watched season 1,2 and 3 in dub and haikyuu to the top in sub and i think dub is better. ... Also it's funnier in dub than sub.

I hate Hinata dubbed. A bunch of other characters are alright, but Karasuno (again, mostly Hinata) is so bad

Watch it in sub. Dub is good but Japanese voices are much better suited and its much closer to Furudate sensei’s vision. I’ve heard dub has better comedy but imo the comedy takes so much away from the show. Eng dub is solid too but there’s a dip in quality now and then while sub is just consistently superior.

Original is always better. Every sub vs dub battle,it's obvious sub will win. But dub was okay too. Though not my fav. Maybe it's better if you try both of it and decide it yourself.

The dub is fucking horrendous. I don’t know what all these other people are talking about but DO NOT WATCH THE DUB. Watching the sub for any anime is almost always the way to go if you actually want to enjoy the show. There is such a drop in quality when you watch the dub that it feels like a mess and just a different show entirely.

The dub is great for the humor but that's really all it's got going for it. The Japanese voiceacting fits the characters so much better and the acting is superb besides. I really dislike some of the voices in the English dub, like Asahi's and Nishinoya's. Plus, To the Top isn't dubbed yet, so you'd have to watch that subbed anyway, or wait for who knows how long for the dub to come out. So you might as well just watch the whole show subbed. If you really want the humor of the dub, you can watch a compilation on YouTube.

I would say sub I mean yes the dub is really funny but a lot of like the noises they make when playing volleyball just sound really weird to me in english TvT just like unnatural and I just like the dialogue better in Japanese

As someone who always looks to dub first, while the sub wasn’t by any means bad, the dub is more enjoyable IMO.

For me I’m currently watching it dub and it’s amazing but I also watched some clips of the show subbed and it’s just as good. While I do prefer the dub voices of some characters the sub is still great. Completely up to you.

Personally I always watch sub over dub. To each their own, ofcourse, but the voices (word choice, literal sound of the English voice actors) never feel like they match the characters. Either way tho Haikyuu is one of my favourite anime of all time so as long as your watching it you are on the right track! So many hype moments that I’m sure transcend sub or dub! Also I find it interesting lots are saying the dub is funnier. I find the subs humour awesome. There may not be as much in the sub version but I find the comedy moments it does have are perfectly placed within the intensity that comes with playing sports!
