| Source: the official Slam Dunk Movie Twitter account On August 13th, the official Twitter account for the Slam Dunk movie released a 30 second PV announcing when the movie will be scheduled for release, which was revealed as sometime during Fall 2022. The PV also included some of the staff members who are currently working on the project. ----- So the movie will be released sometime towards the end of next year, so we have another 14-16 months until that time comes. I'm still concerned as to whether this will adapt the rest of the manga, or whether the film's success will determine if there will be multiple movies adapting the final 2 games from the manga. Although I would have preferred a complete remake for the TV series, I'm excited to hear more news regarding the film's production over the next few months or so. |
| Most likely we will have to wait until mid 2023 to watch it outisde of japan, hopefully im wrong. I dont know how long will it be until we get subtitles |
