yes, but the ciberpunk style made it easy to watch, at least for me

Yeah I could see that, kinda tied into the retro animation overall too, I feel like they’d be even creepier if they were animated today with modern animation.

fuglin damn right they were. Especially the one in the floating chair thing. And as someone else said tetsuo's fucking 5 head stood out like a morning woody. And yea they'd prolly get the Guts treatment, were they animated today. Guess we'll find out in the future, since it's getting another adaptation.

She felt like Heaven, but I'm sure she was in Hell.

Yeah I agree XD if you enjoyed the movie I recommend checking out the manga it’s just as good if not better than the movie

true definitely a lot of more details in the manga in terms of explaining the actual whole story but there are scenes in the movie like when Tetsuo is tripping balls that’s my favorite scene from the movie and why I think both the movie and the manga are unique experiences
