Anyways that isn't the important part of this episode. The most important part is the rage that both Zoro and Luffy express physically. Luffy understands that the Animal Kingdom Pirates are a bunch of ungrateful douchebags who don't deserve the luxury of a surplus of Red Bean Soup. Speaking of Red Bean Soup, that is Luffy's favorite food. He said and I quote
"Yeah, it's delicious. There is nothing else that tastes this good."

He ate a lot of it so it doesn't go to waste and as those douches kept spilling it, he unleashed all of his rage in a powerful and BADASS Gum Gum Elephant Gun! Zoro tried to tell him that he needs to be more discreet, but once he heard of the Red Bean Soup being spilled, he was ready to join in!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE ONE PIECE BADASSERY!

your reply was head on but I don't think he really meant that red soup is his favorite food it just out of courtesy to tama and that it genuinely tastes good. luffy's fav food is most probably meat.

Luffy isn't a liar. In fact it's obvious when Luffy is lying because that's not his strong suit. That's what makes him such a badass. He wouldn't say "There is nothing else that tastes this good" if he didn't genuinely believe that nothing is as good as Red Bean Soup.

He probably said for the sake of Otama. I highly doubt he appreciates anything more than meat. :)

Again, Luffy can't lie. So there is no possible way that he could make that statement without it being 100% true.

He isn't a good liar, as we have seen in the past(when Porchemy was asking where the treasure is, Sanji asking Luffy about food) but that doesn't mean he can't lie at all. He's also developing as a person. Secondly, it ain't really a lie. To lie means not telling the truth in order to deceive, so it's a white lie at best. He told one to his crew during the Katakuri fight with the sole intention that they shouldn't worry

Lastly, him eating all the oshiruko and his line that there's nothing that tastes as good as it is anime original. The creator of Luffy is Oda, the mangaka. In the SBS of volume 86 he confirmed that Luffy's favorite foods are all kind of meats.

Or maybe it's takoyaki?

Yeah I'm not reading all of this. A lie is a lie. Luffy can't do that as he has shown to be bad at that. That's part of what makes him such a badass. So no. HIS FAVORITE FOOD IS RED BEAN SOUP BECAUSE HE SAID SO.
