Is it worth getting into TG Anime after completing the whole manga ?

I recently completed reading TG manga and wanted to experience each character's voice. So is it worth the time or should I skip it and stick to my imagination?

From what ive heard hell nah.The anime trips over itself and then some.
If you wanna give season 1 a shot,but for the rest heck nah.If i remember even the authour wasnt pleased about the anime's direction?Im not sure on this.

season 1 is pretty good, but route A pretty much just took the action from the manga and thats it, and the fights are amazingly animated

Well, you can watch it for Unravel and animated fights, but only upto season 2, ok.

Dude if your a hard core fan, go ahead. It’ll help you give a more detailed critique. Other than that s1 was good but the rest was totally meh, so if you’re a manga reader don’t waste time with it, even if you do wanna watch it’s fine cuz some people have enjoyed it.

I watched the show first and absolutely loved it. Now I am reading the manga and I see a lot of differences and so far the manga is a lot better, but I still think the show stands on it's own well enough. If anything, I think having read the manga first can even make it more enjoyable as I found that there are some holes in the story that aren't really explained in the show but are quite detailed in the manga.

It's one of my favourite anime, despite the flaws, so I'd recommend giving it a watch!

Imo season 1 is pretty strong although missing a few things out. Season 2 is worth giving a go just for the anime format. A lot of people (including the author) I believe didn't seem to like the direction of it but I'd say have a watch and see what you think! The visuals are still pretty good but the story falls apart a bit.

I haven’t read the manga myself, but I’ll read it once I’ve finished with Spy x Family. But on the the point, despite everyone hating on the second season onwards, I still find it thoroughly enjoyable. Sure, it’s not as exciting as season 1, but as I said, I still managed to enjoy it since I like the genre itself. It’s still one of my top tier anime though. So, give it a watch since you’ve already done with the manga.

if you've read the manga, just take the anime like a fanservice ova. don't expect anything to match with the manga.
But to answer your question, i did that myself and I'm glad I did. Anime onlies hate on this because they don't get the context. The VAs are fantastic and OPs/EDs and Osts are really good. The whole series counts to around 50 episodes so it's up to you, but I'd suggest you go for it.

no. the anime is far worse than the manga, the animation doesn’t hold up to the amazing manga art, and it’s rushed. i was rlly disappointed. the op is good tho lol

Season 1's quite good. Kaneki Ken is voiced by the actor who did Tanjiro from Demon Slayer, he's really good!

I didn't read the Manga, only specific chapters and snipers but if I could choose to only watch the anime or read the Manga, there would be no questions I'd choose the Manga. They leave out a lot of info. However maybe you'd enjoy the anime, and perceive it a different way then I did for example, because you have all the back info

Season 1 is worth watching..
Season 2 is a also worth watching..
And Tokyo Ghoul:re (both seasons) they have bad plots (according to me) but good fighting scenes so it will be fun watching it

So I'll say definitely watch 1st and 2nd season...and watching Tokyo Ghoul re is ur choice...

Well wacht season 1 and 2, Tokyo Ghoul RE: 1 is not that good so wacht It to your own risk of skiping 9 episodes of Tokyo Ghoul RE, Tokyo Ghoul RE:2 is like medium rating i recomend wachting It.

Tokyo ghoul is good. However first season of Re is rushes and the second one is even more rushed. At your point I would watch it just for the animation since you know everything

Am I the only one who found season one a little boring? Like a lot of things happened and at and by no means was it bad but it felt like nothing was changing even though there was. I found season two more entertaining to watch, though the story kinda took some interesting turns. Overall I’d say that if you read the manga just watch season one and if you were satisfied with the ending or just wanted to continue do so.
