I just started claymore and that mf is one of the most annoying character I've seen in all of media. Please tell me that he gets less screen time later on

He gets less screen time and my god he’s annoying and only gets more annoying as the show continues. Besides the ending, he was my biggest problem with the show but his role as a character becomes crucial as you watch more of the show. I’d still recommend you finish it though because the show has some amazing aspects that make it 9/10 or 10/10 material but some parts are 3/10 or 4/10 stuff so it averages to a show worth watching.

You should read the Manga because not only is he a much better and well developed character, but the story goes on for longer and has a way better ending than the anime

Throughout the whole anime be is completely redundant and as a "main character" he does not contribute at all. Apparently, it changes in the manga.

I honestly think he's a supporting character to Clare and they just picked him as the ""main"" character because he's almost the only dude in the show

I like his character because it is a way to show us that the history repeats itself... I mean, he is the Claire of Claire, if you get what I mean...he wanna do what Claire couldn't do: protect her protector, and I think that he becomes very good at that (I've only watched the anime but I've heard that in the manga he becomes a pretty decent warrior)
