That would be Clanned, the similarity comes from them being from both the same original visual novel studio and same animation studio. Personnelly I actually enjoy Kanon more then Clanned, well worth a watch. |

| But I also remember a scene where the MC played with a girl on the banks of the river or in a forest, I don't remember exactly, when he was a child and then went away, and this flashback was shown many times and the story behind it was explained in the 7th or 8th episode, or somewhere about that time. I watched clannad a while back, so I don't remember all the scenes correctly. |
