The animation in Season 5 is horrible. But the plot is incredible !! If sds would have been animated by another studio like for example mappa, sds would be one of the most watched animes now!

No, definitely not. Not only the animation, the plot went downhill after S2

People are so annoying when talking about this show. The animation obviously isnt as good as it used to be but its not horrible, its slightly worse i will say but stop judging it on the animation its worth watching 100% the story is great!!!

I can’t come up with single positive thing about this season, maybe that it finally ends lol. Animation is trash and story devolved to everything being about love and friendship. First 2 seasons were good tho.

It was good up to around the half. After that the story felt much more forced with 1000 plot twists that felt out of place

I mean, I'm not sure what to say. I got very bored when I first started the season, around halfway it got a little better, but the last few episodes fell a bit short for me but they were okay-ish. What I do really like is that they answer questions that you have about the world and some of the sad moments were executed well.

I can't say for sure since I dropped this season a couple episodes in. From what I did watch though, to say I was bored is an understatement. I barely even knew what was going on but I also couldn't be bothered to enlighten myself either, and I was basically yawning every episode and trying hard to resist the urge to sleep. I didn't enjoy S3 of SDS, both because of the animation and story, and imo from what I've seen of S4, it isn't much better than S3. I would say that if you didn't like S3 and didn't care for the story, then you might not like how S4 starts off.

Honestly no , animation is as bad as s4 and even through the rest of the plot holes being filled the plot got worse after s2 (s1 and s2 had good animation with a great plot)

The plot is okay, the animation is still just as terrible as season 3 and I feel some parts got dragged out way too much. It’s not that great compared to the first two season but I recommend watching if you are a fan of the series or have already seen the previous seasons
