This episode was alright, but damn they should of made this 2 episodes to make this a 12 episode show. Also it just felt so unnatural to me that Isabelle switched the way she did, just felt like it was too convenient. Best part of this episode was Phil and Emma's reunion, it was sweet.

I can't defend this season anymore. Guys, it's not solid or good. Let's be real with ourselves. Isabella randomly turns face without little to no reason. They don't don't shoot Peter because reasons..... This is just such a fucking butt fumble!

I don't think it's awful but Jesus this isn't good.

THAT WAS WAYYYYYY TOO MANY PLOT TWISTS FOR 1 EPISODE LOLLL. I COUNTED 7 what in the HELL is this PACING? That's enough to make a person dizzy.. Even if the events in this one ep were spread out across 4 I would've still thought it was crazy rushed

This anime really went to shit. How disappointing >:/ I would've preferred they'd extended the release date another year so it could at least get the second season it deserved.
My favorite plot twist is Isabella becoming a babyface. Miss me with that bullshit of," Oh we share the same interest." LOL! Girl please shut up. If I wrote this, I would have her see that being their lap dog is pointless and sees that it is better to break the cycle than maintain it. the only good part about her now is the outfit. It gives off Bioshock Infinite vibes.

This episode was better than anything that happened after episode 6.
Although the pacing is generally questionable at best, I admit that is probably the biggest issue, I don't know if changing the storyline was a good move, seeing Goldy Pond animated would have been so good. The 11 episodes limitation is bad for a show with a story. Really sad that we received a second season no one can possibly be happy about.

Overall I think the kids had to much luck this time, they had zero losses nor injuries in this whole season.
Season 1 was much scarier, the second one is so easygoing for Emma and the family.

Yeah, this felt rushed lol. It was still okay, I guess.

Loved the Phil moment with Emma. It must have been scary for him to be the only one to know what being "shipped" means.

Seeing Isabella siding with the kids and she has a gun, which makes her badass. XD

The episode was rushed, still fine though. But Emma can’t be serious! Is she really lending a hand to that dude? It’s just ridiculous at this point.

This felt so rushed, I was expecting this season to end before they save Phil and other kids but they went ahead straight away. Everything was conveniently enough to go in their way and it seems like even Peter Ratri is also going to go with their plan. This season could've been better if there wasn't a sudden timeskip and this bad pacing.

Why kids even needed guns in the aource if you can just hit a demon with a pipe and he will go down? This is just ridiculous how this original trashes everything that was good in the source.

Ah okay. Now I'm starting to see where the score plummet is coming from. While this sequel has been less impressive than the first season, I wasn't really bothered by anything until now. This is reminiscent to Higurashi in that it takes an insanely dark, horror premise and manages to dip it into so much cheese that it's indistinguishable from so many other shows that preach peace & love. I'm not against Emma's idealism, but it has just reached so many levels of absurdity that all suspension of disbelief is gone. The idea of humans & demons overcoming differences could have been an incredible turning point if it wasn't executed so childishly. I feel like I'm watching High School Musical because the only thing playing in my head now is that "We're all in this together."

There were some moments with emotional payoffs, but the execution is still pretty bad after all. Last episode I was thinking jokingly that the the cliffhanger might have been just a ruse, but man they really went for it. At least when it happens in something like Hamatora you can roll with it as "so bad it's funny", since you are already expecting to get trolled at every turn.
The conveniences didn't stop after last episode of course, but this time around they actively hurt the presentation, e.g. the Mothers switching sides just for the insurrection to render the result of their choice near pointless, except to demonstrate that they were going to join them even before they had the upper hand. I still enjoyed Isabella's remark to Emma though.

I'm glad that everything went smoothly but wasn't it too easy? I mean, in the first season the demons were terrifying and strong beings but in this episode we saw how weak and incompetent they actually are lol.

Isabella's turn was obvious but hey, I like her and I'm happy that all the sisters are with her too. Which leaves the Ratri guy.... wow, what a loser. I hate that Emma wants to bring him to the good side.

This is the most plot conveniences in any media ever. I simply don't have the brainpower to list them.

The fact that the Grace Field house well leads to HQ made me contemplate life, why are the creators trying to now ruin season 1.

This is beyond sad. It's actually funny. Promised Neverland: Siblinghood when?????

where the f did the hot air balloons come from? where the f did all those civilians come from? why did the "reinforcements" just let the civilians do whatever they wanted? wtf was the bitch maid looking chick's plan (keep the farms but do it their own way? fuck them)? these CHILDREN magically knew how to break into this facility, hack the system, take out 20 demons apiece, etc etc (that damn pen isn't a cure-all)?

and let's reiterate...in the previous episode, receiving that chip from the pen from the old demon dude last episode, that told them the schematics and even told them where the guards were stationed (even though it was YEARS old by then) and told them where the lambda antidote was...is horse shit. having the "gate" to the human world under the farm is horse shit. wtf kind of gate goes down?

asspull. asspull. deus ex machina. asspull. asspull

then this chick wants to be friends with ratri? just forgive him like that? happily ever after? STUPID

easily the worst episode so far

Heartwaming reunion, good to see Phill saved...oh and also the rest of the kids.
Feels like we are getting close to the 'end' part even though there is still a lot to discover. The events occuring feels a bit out of place, for example the demon civilians being upset with the farms (although hinted) felt like it came out of nowhere.

*Shrugs* The only thing that interested me was the part where Phil's old playmates appear wearing their uniform, but that's it. Anything else seems far-fetched. And I have to agree with others. It's pathetic how there were no casualties so far from the children.

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

The story is wrapping up... too well. At one moment the higher demons seemed to have the edge, but then the rebellious humans have the upper hand, but then victory was about to go to the higher demons yet again. When Isabella betrayed Peter Ratri, Ratri believed he could kill her with the explosive attached to her heart but the explosive was deactivated when Vincent hacked the headquarters' mainframe system... And when the demon civilians barged through the main farm entrance when demon reinforcements were called in moments before. Very lucky. The back and forth situation transitioned very smoothly; everyone in this episode knew their time and place. I will have to see if that is how the original source worked out when I read the manga soon or these convenient incidents are another thing the anime has done different from the manga.

Also, the time in the episode when Isabella betrayed Peter that is when I clearly noticed the animation framerate has gone down to mere slideshows especially when Sonju kicked the door which the anime showed the still image below for a moment with the sound effect of a door having been knocked down:

Talk about rush:

Anyway, here is a comment from the Fandom article on Sonju I got a chuckle from:

Well, that was quite the rescue mission, lol. Peter Ratri played directly into their hands, and they were able to capitalise it.

So all the sisters and mamas needed was for the power to be turned off to switch sides. Only because their interests collided, of course. GG, either way.

It was a sweet family reunion, especially between Emma and Phil, but my god, a portion of this ep just felt rather messy to me, lol.

Their break-in-and-escape plan was supposed to make them look intelligent like in the first season. But you can't just condense a good plan into half an episode, so it does not work that well.

Their plan was that they land their decoy in the forest and run into the base while the entire guard army is still distracted, that's the entire plan. Even a single person inside the base with a machine gun would have been enough to stop/kill them all once he sees them. Its like the door to the other world was nearly unguarded.
And basically that's what happens at the second half of the episode when they get completely stopped.
