| Im still listening to the full version of the 1st opening on loop even after reading the chapter...it was simple but the way Luffy treated the Yonko was how a King treats those bellow him In this case it just shows that the Yonko status is inferior to what hes aiming for |

| Getting a lot of nostalgia for when I first started watching the anime and then eventually picked up the manga to get caught up. Crazy how far the story has gotten in 1000 chapters and excited that the end is starting to be in sight. I'm glad there wasn't some attempt to force some plot twist, just a classic Luffy moment for the 1000th chapter. Looking forward to the rest of the Kaido beatdown. I'm also hoping to see more of Yamato and Ace's backstory as there still seems to be more to it. |

| I really hope we get to see Luffy, Zoro, Law, Killer and Kidd fought Big Mom and Kaido together. I was a bit disappointed we couldn't see Law and Luffy fought Doflamingo together, they got separated and we got the usual Luffy vs Final Boss of arc one on one like usual. Hope this time, it's change. |
| Congratulations to One Piece for 1000 chapters, truly an incredibly milestone for this epic adventure. Can't wait to see where we go from here. Chapter was classic and classy, honestly if this chapter was just Luffy walking to the Yonkou and saying he was going to be the King of Pirates I'd have been satisfied. xD Epic last panel, from chapter 1 to chapter 1000, it's crazy how far we've come and comforting that we've never lost sight of the goal. |

| The Big 1000 Feels so satisfying to see it go into 4 digits. 23 years of serialization. Wow. I've only been following One Piece for a decade when I first discovered the show and recently read the manga from the beginning. Can't imagine how this feels for the O.G. fans who've been patiently waiting week after week for 23 years. Also, wow, Luffy really established his dominance just completely ignoring Kaido and Big Mom, calmly walking past them to tell Kin'emon that their sacrifices were not for nothing. Man, the weight of a nation and the life dreams of your friends on your shoulders...really added an impact when I read it. |

| Epic chapter!!! Way to cap off 1000 chapters, loving it Oda. Just the scene of the supernovas (probably the strongest four - not including Killer) standing off against Kaido and Big Mom, whew! Goosebumps!! Can you imagine what is going to happen to the world if they win this battle?? Also, Luffy's new advanced armament haki certainly helps!! He can finally damage Kaido. |

| It's finally time to catch up with the manga. Started from scratch, reading every night for a little bit while rewatching the pre-time skip episodes which were incredibly enjoyable to watch. I've finally reached the 1000th chapter of One Piece. It's quite a feat for me :D i've rewatched OP around 2 to 3 times, but never tried the manga. It's great, much better than the anime after the timeskip. Can't wait to be fully caught up. I'll read volume 100 in pyshical form which I managed to obtain at a manga shop. |

| part of me was hoping that the 1000th chapter would have extra pages but oda still managed to pack a punch even with the regular page count. luffy being unfazed by two emperors standing right before him was great to see as well as the flashback with ace and yamato and the samurai's quotes |
| This is quite the feat!!! A 1000 chapters!!! I can't believe I've actually read this far!!! One piece is just peak fiction!!! This chapter was fantastic!! And yes I loved that classic ending where Luffy declares for the millionth time that he's gonna be the "king of the pirates" right in front of two emperors!!! 82 chapters to go before I catch up!!! Let's do this then!!! |
