The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (light novel)
| Surely this question has been made countless times but I don't know :p so that's the question, do I have to watch this season to watch the movie? also, do I have to watch "The Endless Eight" or I can just skip them? I literally fell asleep watching the 1st episode of this season lmao |

| Every chapter contains a small clue required in order to solve the mystery presented in Shoushitsu, make sure to watch every episode in chronological order and pay close attention to the background details. Rewatch the episodes if necessary. |

| According to this guide, https://i.imgur.com/CMaAuPB.png, only the first episode (Bamboo Lead Rhapsody) must be watched before the movie. Endless Eight is also recommended but it's not necessary. |

| If you fell asleep watching the first episode, that's not a good sign, because that's the best episode of the season. It's the only one you absolutely need to watch. You can skip all but the first and last episode of the Endless Eight arc without missing anything, and the rest of the episodes just fill out the experience the SOS Brigade had while filming the movie they made in the first season. None of that is essential viewing but it is amusing. |
