| I've liked that episode, I think? If Canute weren't so bad before I might've ending up liking him now. But oh well, better than nothing. I'm happy for how things turned out for Askeladd, he's great. |

| That took quite a turn. Interesting to see more of Thors past and how his last encounter was with Thorkell who's Thorfinn's great uncle. I wonder what the "true" state of a warrior was for Thors. His family? Or maybe something else? I definitely have my speculations, but still don't get it completely. Surprisingly enough and with Askeladd's help Thorfinn was able to win the duel vs Thorkell. Of course Thorkell's men wouldn't let Thorfinn kill him, but at the same time Thorkell got super pissed off about that. I don't think anyone expected such an entry by the prince. He even convinced Thorkell to become one of his followers. Also with how much Canute changed I knew that even if Askeladd admits that he was responsible for Ragnar's death Canute would just let him work harder on his behalf. I'm glad everything turned out this way and I'm already got my liking on the Askeladd and Thorkell dynamic. King Sweyn should prepare himself for the worst. |

| As happy as I am that Canute isn’t a crybaby anymore, I hope he doesn’t become a generic “I’m a badass so I never get hurt” type of character where he can just talk no jutsu out of any situation. Canute instead of relying on God's power or divine providence is trying to take matters into his own hands, to shape the world and his life how he thinks it should be. He calls the fighting vain or pointless, but decides he wants to take his father from the throne and fight him. |

| From here until the 2nd last episode is a blur to me. I'll remember as soon as I start watching it again, but for the most part it feels as if it's all new to me. Which I'm glad it is, because I get to experience the insane hype that I didn't feel the first time (I was rather lukewarm towards this anime on first viewing). Because I'm pretty confident in saying that this may very well be the best 19th episode I've ever seen in any anime ever. That was my attempt at a demon slayer joke just in case you didn't catch on. |

| I would have softened for someone as beautiful as Helga. I want to spend the rest of my life with her in a peaceful place. I understand why Thors made the decision he did, even though greater things were within his reach. A woman can have a powerful influence on a man, both for better and for worse. Haha! I never knew there was such a thing as Viking chess. It looks like an interesting game. Cnut's character development reminded me of Edward from The Last Kingdom. Thorkell kinda looked like Broly with that kind of hairstyle. Haha! Askeladd made the right decision to kill Ragnar. Although it is unfortunate, if he didn't, Cnut would have never been pushed to his breaking point and would have remained a weak contender for the throne. As a result, they would be in constant danger of being hunted down by the King's men. |

| Thors dismantling Askeladd's men without even drawing his sword from way back then is technically more impressive but the fact that he knocked Thorkell out is somehow more amazing to me. And wow Canute really just became a gigachad after a single nap |
