| So Die Neue These was 12 episodes and based on the first volume of the novel, and the 3 movies are basically season 2 (12 episodes) for volume 2. Wouldn't that mean Production I.G. have the potential to do between 4 and 8 seasons or movie trilogies (if it's 1/2-cour for each release) to adapt each volume of the novel? - which would probably give us at least 100 episodes worth of content, nearly as much as the OVA. I mean if they've started the first two volumes, they might as well go all out and do the rest, just like the OVA series |
