| I like the direction that Suzuki is steering this battle; keeping it somewhat short, especially in comparison to the previous arc's final battle with the DK. This chapter feels as if it's preparing for a note of finality where the superficial aspects align with the philosophical concepts of the series through the rejuvenation of the Seven Deadly Sins as a group (only once Lord Escanor gets to the lake, ofc). Excited for next week's chapter. The inclusion of the rules of the Seven Deadly Sins was a nice touch - it's good to know Suzuki hasn't forgotten the series' roots. |
