| Yes. The only important things that are canon are the stuff with Hendrickson and Dreyfus. If anything, just skip to the ending of the episodes. |
| If you aren't really in a hurry then you should. I think the episodes were quite entertaining to watch kinda has a more lighthearted tone to it than the main series but if you aren't really into that type then skip ahead |
| If you liked the main series, then I recommend you to at least check it, since it's relatively short and offers some rest from the intensity of the end of the first season and what is going to come in this new one, and you can see the characters living some lighthearted adventures and relaxing (in their own ways, of course). If you didn't, then just watch the last minutes from the last episode, since those are actually relevant for the beginning of the second season. |

| why would you skip them? There's really no reason to hurry - there will be weekly waits with season 2 anyway now, so relax a bit, just watch them and then you're up to date anyway. I'd also recommend you to watch the 2 OVA's from the first season as well. Also let's pretend you'll only watch a single episode a day and still have to watch these 4 episodes + the 2 OVA's. Then that's still only 6 days and you're up to date with episode 2 and then have your weekly waits. Just watch it all lol |

| Watch them. There's some canon bits riddled in there that will be good to know for later, particularly some of the King and Diane bits, Pelliot's introduction (I honestly don't understand why they didn't include it in the anime, it was a way better intro for Gowther than the anime's version lol), and the Dryfus stuff. There's some other info in there that's good to know. It really doesn't hurt to watch the 4 episodes, they're pretty fun and lighthearted for the most part. |

| These 4 episodes weren't important at all (except for the last few minutes of each episode). But there's also a recap episode which shows the key events of the first season and of this OVA... Anyway, up to you. You can watch them, but they're not all that important. Also.. they were incredibly bad. |
