| this is a big year for anime. Everything is getting sequels including shows no one would've guess like FLCL. this is generally hype. my only fear is that we get sequelitis. Like how every movie and video game that comes out in the west is a sequel and its rare to get new IPs. The reason for this is because sequels sell really well and companies like banking on safe money, but the franchise also starts to be shitty after awhile. |

| As a mechafag I just sit here hoping atleast there will be more mechas this year than 2017 had, genre seems to be a decline each new season and not many that have traditational 2D animation anymore. Guess in the meantime I'll work my way through my backlog of older shows. |
