RIP Chikage.

There were multiple times throughout that chapter that I thoughts she was going to die. From suicide to Wakaba having to kill her. But i'm glad she redeemed herself in the end and sacrificed herself to save Wakaba. It's too bad she didn't realize how important her friends were until the very end.

It was very painful chapter to read and really showed how broken Chikage was mentally. Her desperation for recognition from others drove her to alienate herself and attack Wakaba. I suppose it was her mental state completely breaking that caused her to lose her hero powers. I'd say she was probably the most tragic character in the YuYuYu-verse so far.

Now Wakaba is the only hero left that still move. What happened to Chikage will surely weight on her for the rest of the series. Unlike Tamako and Anzu's death, this one will cause her to really question herself and leadership skills. I have no idea what is going to happen next. I wonder what Yuuna is going to do as well?
