| well if just watched the first episode. And for now, yeah I'm also thinking about comedy but sports? nah...but yeah to short for me to talk. But what if already see in the first episode. There is a lot of comedy into it. |

| No having seen whole franchise, this is no sports. It rather feels to me like a Slice of life(especially early) combined with Game(especially for those who have played any tactical games including tanks will get the feeling). Comedy is discussable but it is not a major focus in my opinion. |
| It doesn't seem that comedy focused to me unless you laugh at seeing tanks do some insane things and some of the tactics the girls use, then maybe. It depends on how you would define "sport". If you loosely use any sort of "serious" (in the anime) competition that involves professionals and amateur leagues, then yes, it's a sport, since that's what Girls Und Panzer world is about. ESPN, at least in my region, shows poker tournaments and July annual food eating competitions, so based on that, you can say the tank battles are a sport. |
