I'm sure Toonami just wanted to make this feel special by airing it at midnight, but I'm just wondering why they chose this night at this time to show it. Nobody is going to be watching Toonami with tons of channels airing New Year's coverage all over the world, especially at midnight when the actual event happens. The only ones who would watch this are those who've heard of the event beforehand and don't have plans with friends or family. Hopefully Toonami will provide adequate coverage of the showing beforehand just to show this to the handful of people who haven't seen Shelter yet, because it honestly should be seen by more people even with over 10 million views on YouTube. |

Oh yeah, I did watch it. I remember they just played the music portions and excluded the intro and ending monologues. I don't think I was too mad since it's Toonami and they cut every intro and ending for everything anyway. But, yeah, not sure how many people watched it and don't care now. |
