Watched Berserk 1997.
Watched Berserk Movie.

Legend says that if you want to experience what hell is like,Head straight off to Berserk 2016.

It's literal adaption from manga it's just 3d and looks good. Can you imagine berserk with classic 2010's anime art? I can't.

Except, you know, for that part where they cut out a ton of content, added their own content, and manage to make action scenes look less fluid than they do in the manga - as still images.

instead of making a feeble attempt at trying to make it "stand on it's own feet" they should have just started the series right post eclipse

Okay,previously i intended to make berserk 2016 a joke but i just cant.

Here's what i got after watching 11 episode(Not too good in rating,so just look at the difference to see my point)

Story-9
Art-4(Ajin is better....)
Sound-5(What in the world? Skipped OP/ED)
Character-5(Not enough bombastic dialog,personality,character development)
Enjoyment-7(Im not too sure about this...)

So,i enjoyed berserk 2016 even though the animation and sound is terrible(Because im too lazy to read manga,i dont know,i just... watch anime only =_=)If you watch it for the story and ignore the animation and sound,you will enjoy it.Well,sure,they skipped a lot(Thats what i heard,The elf and black swordsman arc)

Anyway,i can understand the community's frustration.After all,a harem anime get such good art but Berserk the masterpiece isnt getting a decent art after 10 years.Those who waited for 10 years,their high expectation eventually become their ultimate frustration.

And no, Berserk is nowhere near a "literal adaptation of the manga".

you stupid shit there's no still images in the 2016, berserk 1997 is full of still images that's repeated 3 times. 2016 did skip some chapters but didn't chance the ones that it used.

Simple replocating the words would help you. There was NO mention of the 1997 Berserk one but YOU still bring that up for no reason.

anime are only there to advertise the manga. of course they will skip things that will make you read manga. duh.

and I'm not saying 2016 is good either. when I had votes in my list I gave berserk manga, 1997 and 2016 anime 1. you see I fucking hate them.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of Anime that are original ideas and dont have a Manga, Card Game, Movie, Game or whatever as the original material.
There are things that CAN be skipped (minor things), yet there are others that shouldnt be skipped (major things). Berserk 1997 is an example of the first since it still built a whole world around the mythos..........heck, even the movies did that and what was skipped was rather minor things. While Berserk 2016 is an example of not showing what shouldnt be skipped (the major things) since the world and mythos dont seem important or grand at all.
So no, its not "duh" (as you put it), especially not since not every Anime skips things that are in the manga as well. If the producers cared, then they would treat Berserk 2016 with more respect since they very well know how big of a fanbase Berserk has. Yet they dont give a shit and that is showned with the animation alone where even Ajin or Ronja look better than Berserk 2016.
