Before those baka moderators send this topic off to the series discussions, right now I'm watching kuroko no basket and just finished the episode where aomine rapes kuroko's team.

Are they even supposed to beat him? He pretty much makes kuroko completely useless and I don't see kagami going through any rocky training sequence anytime soon.

If they are going to beat him say yes, please no spoilers if possible.

I just want to know if the anime is worth investing my time in, I don't want another diamond no ace where the main doesn't even become ace after 120 episodes and from what I heard is still bottom of the barrel in the manga.
