Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie -Rebellion-
| Ok so b4 all that happend, when Madoka recreated the universe it was like this: -Universe is constantly losing power (the lew QB talked about, cant remember name) -To fill that hole QBs gathered energy from mahou shoujo transformation into witch but Madoka recreated the Universe so she would erase every witch in the moment they are born -In Madoka's world QBs gathered energy from these white creatures (because there was no witches) so everything was ballanced But when Homura made herself a demon and created new world everything was changed. Madoka couldn't do her job and Homura's world seems to have no Mahou Shoujo nor witches, which means that the ballance was broken and Universe started losing power. Everything was almost perfectly ballanced when Madoka became a god (It's really well explained in this article https://imperialx.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/madoka-doesnt-need-a-sequel-to-explain-itself/ ) but who is refilling this constant loss of energy now? |
| Hello! This is just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt. Honestly we don't really know what the world is like after rebellion. I'd presume they are still Mahou Shoujo after the change but supposedly no more are being contracted since Homura said she'd consider destroying the universe after all wraiths were eliminated, suggesting that the supply of wraiths will no longer replenish. Anyway, to explain further on Kyubey's motives, his goal is to collect usable energy in order to put off the eventual heat death of the universe which is far far FAR away in the future. However, this is his mission alone, and isn't really relevant to the interests of the rest of the cast who represent humanity's standpoint. TL;DR - Universe might be slowly dying but that's kyubey's problem, the pile of dead/mutated 14 year old girl's are our main concern. |
| I wonder if this mystery will ever be solved? I don't know if there are any plans for 2nd season |
| our universe actually is losing energy, do you see anyone crying about it? it'll be a problem in a trillion years, which kyuubs apparently cares about but it definitely doesn't matter for now |
