| A commercial aired during the broadcast of the final episode of Arslan Senki (TV) announced that a new TV anime based on the manga series Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) will air in 2016. The announcement does not specify whether the new series is a sequel. Nanatsu no Taizai, written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki, has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine since 2012. It was adapted into a 24-episode TV anime in Fall 2014, and two OVA episodes have also been released. |
