| Ban's back story was told way better here than in the actual anime. It wasn't rushed here that's why. Loved the fragment after the ending song. |

| Ban is the man. Seeing these scenes as the part of Ban's dreaming in the original anime felt like a half introduction for the character, so I really didn't mind this extended little backstory. 10/10 |
| Pretty good OVA episode, but for some reason I remember a lot of this ova for some reason so I'm not sure I've watched this already or if some parts came in the original series. Either way let's see what the second ova will offer us. |

| Elaine: *drinks a bit* *got drunk a second later* lol! that's not how alcohol works! It's funny because I realized something when I saw Ban being sentenced in the last part.. maybe all the 7 deadly sins were once criminals? and the sin in their titles correspond to their crimes? in this case, Ban's greed? I finished the series without realizing this because Ban's the only one who was shown to be a criminal once. Well I might be wrong though. Still I don't know what's with the animals. Like Fox's greed or Dragon and wrath etc. anyway this is just the same flashback that was shown in the series they only made it longer and added a few bit of details. Still against Ban X Elaine though. |

| This was the cutest thing I saw in the series, and it made me cry the first time. Watching the extended recap was even worse, and I cried even more. I love Ban and Elaine so much. This so is amazing. |

| That was SO cute! I'm honestly fine that this was the extended version, as there were some things that got cut out from the manga (even though I haven't read it yet). The feels were real, as were Ban's hotness. Why does anime seem to have characters that are hotter than people in real life sometimes? That scene where he was bathing with Elaine watching him was very fangirl worthy. |

| Didn't seem to add that much extra from what we got in the main series, but it was nice to watch. I really like Ban, probably my favourite of the Seven Deadly Sins, and his backstory is awesome. Accepting his sentence like a badass at the end. :D |

| I've forgotten how much I really liked this series. I like that the author knows how to balance the cringey parts out. Cringe stuffs aren't always bad, it's reused for a reason, but a lot of terrible authors don't know how to do it right. It's given a lot of care here in Nanatsu no Taizai, gotta commend Suzuki Nakaba for that. That said, I feel like this episode was rushed, the purpose was not to replay the entire backstory from scratch and show us the development between the 2 leads in this, but to give us a brief summary of what actually went down, that's why the emotional scenes weren't as powerful as it should be for me. Even though we've already seen this part in the original series, I am grateful they made this so I could just watch this before going into season 2 instead of re-watching the entire first series to jolt my memory. Also forgot that this series has some really nice opening/ending song. |

| 7:11-7:19 Flash of Ban's sad past before he met Elaine. Once again I'm sad for Ban and Elaine but more than when I saw the one in the anime because this one is more detailed. |

| I hope King can properly explain to her sis that he did not forgot (intentionally he had amnesia) about his kingdom and make amends with her like sibling supposed to do. Man watching this again it pains me to see Elaine go like that but I remembered one thing about the anime... what Hendrickson told King when... Glad to see that a new forest is going to be made via the last seed that Elaine gave to Ban. |

| This episode of the OVA pretty much showed how ridiculous the feelings of Ban was for Elaine. Lmfao. No, what I meant was, it showed how ridiculous the feelings of both Ban and Elaine for each other. 7 days? Lmao. Alright. And Ban was ready to sacrifice his friendship with Meliodas and kill him for the bitch who he'd only known for 7 days? Lame ass. Hahaha. Nothing new in this episode since we already know what happened between them two. They just made it longer. Lmfao. Elaine will always grind my gears. She's not an interesting character--not one bit. 2/5 |

| This OVA sure got some feels to it. Ban's and Elaine's relationship was short but it was close. It all ended when that demon came out of nowhere, killing Elaine and the forest. However, because of this, Ban was named Undead Ban. Of course, he was accused of all of that red demon's destruction. |
