| Near the end of the episode, Zolgear was called by the current demon lord Leohart (this guy http://shinmaimaou.wikia.com/wiki/Leohart), he has a major role in volume 7 where him and Basara have a major battle. Its like in High School DxD when they showed Ophis in the BD version of season 2 because she appears later on in the novels and we're getting a season 3 in April |

| The anime sales with this type of series doesn't matter much, 2 to 4K average. Now it's just a matter of whether the LN/manga has a good enough boost in sales for them to consider a 2nd season. | Oh God I'm hoping this anime gets a second season because it's one of favorite action/harem/ecchi anime this year. Despite the heavy censorship but this anime really keeps me entertain and keeps me interested. |

| I don't think something minor like that is going to decide if this show has another season or not. It's just putting in a little hook that can be incorporated into a second season if it's coming. There have been countless shows with hints or spoilers that haven't gotten another season. It's all about the sales. |

| I hope it get's a second season, censored or not be damned, i like this series. No DxD or to love-ru, but definitely in my top 5 harem anime so far. |

| You know, i just remembered, it would be pretty difficult to show that scene without mentioning leonhart(pretty sure he is mentioned in the light novels as well), so i'm going to have to say it probably means little in the long run for a second season. |

But the novel/manga sales boost they got must have been good enough to erase all doubts and announce it right away. The anime sales will be good for this type of series so they won't lose money on the anime. |
