| They already incapacitated whoever ended up in Bruno's body but the situation just kept on going worse and worse when they found out that King Crimson's abilities still work just fine. I can't believe that he actually killed Narancia just like that... It happened so quickly that none of them were able to process their grief since the shock of it was too overwhelming along with the fear that they might end up being next. I myself was too shocked to shed tears but I'll probably do so at the next chapter. |

| I saw memes back when the anime was airing which featured Narancia and a spiked gates. And while I was expecting to be prepared for what was about to come, I wasn't at all! This was such a cool chapter. For one, King Crimson is so freaking awesome! The way everybody can tell that his power was used is chilling. From the first time we saw it from Giorno's perspective outside of Buccelati's battle, it has been one of my favorites in the series. We have those mega cool strategies around it, such as Polnareff tracking his blood drops. We have Diavolo's perspective where the entire world phases away. And best of all, the moment people realize that jump in their memory occurred, we have this moment of horror as we have no idea what is about to happen. Perfectly encapsulated right here! The page turn following the blood reminded me of one of my favorite pages in JoJo. The page turn to Zeppeli chopped in half in all of its glory. Both followed the format of seeing blood and character reactions before revealing the tragic and gruesome image all at once. An image which goes far beyond what I was expecting. And to make matters more interesting, the idea that I'm sure many of us latched onto such as a split between Doppio and Diavolo was speculated by the characters. That there is a damn good chance Doppio is in Buccelati, not Diavolo. It was a reveal which helped add to that chilling realization of what was occurring. Who could have thought body swap comedy could turn into something so exhilarating… |
