| Alicia was awesome! But ugh, stinks that Maximillian's soldiers got to her first... D: Somehow I thought Welkin and co. would reach her... (I suppose that would be too good to be true on top of being too early for a reunion...) Hoping for a great and satisfying ending! :D |
I'm completely confused about this whole holy spear thing. I thought that the Darcsen/Valkyrie war happened a long time ago. If it did, how was this huge spear transported and used? Does this mean that over all these years there hasn't been much technological advancement? Well, anyways, I hope Jaeger wasn't killed; he is one of the characters in this show that I actually like. |

| Okay, so quite a few predictable things happened, Alicia arrived in the nick of time as expected, but what I didn't really like was that she was captured by the enemy. Not another "save the damsel in distress" mission, please. To think that they were within earshot of each other, yet Alicia just HAD to be captured first by the enemy. No Edelweiss when it could have been the most useful is a letdown too. Oh well, it's time to finish this! |

| Maximilian's reason for fighting is just too darn shallow. He's a bad antagonist. And I cant believe no one is getting killed in squad 7 sigh. Welp, unto the final episode. |

| Yeah since it's a good idea to charge Marmota without Edelweiss Also, I just don't approved the way this anime let Jaeger die I mean he suppossed to walk away safely!! I hope it's not going like the game If it's really is... I'm going to cry now :( |

| More contrived and convenient writing. As someone else mentioned, why is it that the Edelweiss is nowhere to be found when they need it most? It seems like the only reason the tank seems absent is so that squad 7 would conveniently not have the faster transportation they needed to get to Alicia quicker, and so that the Imperials would conveniently get to her first even though it looked like she was at the halfway point between the Juggernaut tank and the city. What's worse is that the moment the imperials take her inside the tank Faldio shows up in a jeep mere seconds after. Maximilian is basically a walking, talking waste of potential. What we got instead was a villain devoid of any motives until this episode, and who I'm guess we're supposed to somehow empathize with even though he doesn't really have a clear and realistic goal. This entire series has been a complete mess, and littered with convenient writing, yet despite my rants, I'm somehow able to derive some semblance of enjoyment out this series. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |

| Ghirlandaio and Randgriz being separated by something like 150-200 km, we can see that Alicia really is a speed runner... Well, if you want to change the plot, it's OK, but you don't have to add plotholes... And Jaeger... The only good thing was that we know how Oswlad the Iron died. |
| This episode is somewhat similar with the game, except that Alicia got captured, again, and Jaeger was aboard the Marmota. Maximilian was such an asshole. He kept killing even his own people. And what's he planning to do to Alicia? And squad 7 decided to destroy Marmota without Edelweiss. Wow. Talking about suicide mission. |
