| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Seems like most of the volume takes perspective from Miyuki's point of view as she calls her bro "Ani". Heh, I think she looks adorable as a kid. Damn, she sure talks a bit different towards him than I had thought compared to what as she is now. "Guardian"? Kuroba is a character in this volume that interested me somewhat I guess. Tbh, this volume was kinda boring imo. It feels a bit blend with the duo's relationship since they are treated a bit differently. There was even a storm on one of the days during the vacation. So, the first time that Tatsuya called Miyuki by her name is during a confrontation between them and this guy named Captain Kazuma. I think it's during chapter 11 that she begins to doubt her herself. Idk what to say to that type of own self indulgence to be honest. Well, this entire volume was a flashback that Tatsuya was reminising. Some parts of it were nice while other parts, I wasn't interested it. Their relationship sure felt different than what I had thought. Seriously. |

| This volume really made me dislike the yotsuba family, I felt pretty uncomfortable reading this entire volume because of the way their family works. Also, I don't understand why they just don't start treating Tatsuya like family.. I can understand that before he was strong, they wouldn't want a non-strong magician in the family but now he's undoubtedly the strongest of all them. And I still don't really understand why Tatsuya hates his family so much and wants to take them down. I mean, his only emotion is his feelings for his sister and she should have a good place within the family. If she's happy and isn't treated bad, what does he care? Sure, they treat him like shit, but he doesn't have the emotional capacity to be bothered by anything besides Miyumi's well-being. |
| Reminiscence: A flashback volume, mainly from Miyuki’s perspective. I felt bad for Tatsuya. So, he lost his emotional capacity due to an experiment by his mother and not in an accident as he stated in volume 5. Honestly, it was hard to read how Tatsuya was being treated by his own family members. The reason they the Yotsuba want Miyuki to succeed the head is in order to contain Tatsuya, “that monster”, so that he doesn’t turn against them. – If only they didn’t treat him like shit. It sad what happened to Maya which explains how she’s indifferent to her family members. That fact that her sister, Miya, was indifferent to her own son Tatsuya, I’m guessing she used her own magic against herself. But, holy shit, the Yotsuba are scary as fuck. They’ve basically took down an entire country by themselves. No wonder they are feared by others. |
