She is the daughter of the caretaker of the only shrine of the campus, Tatsumiya Shrine. She is a chocolate skinned beauty who is not only a priestess but also a deadly sniper, possibly even a member of the national team. She is a stylish beauty and has an awesome figure. The gun she uses is a Remington M700, which is supposedly handy for dealing with the supernatural. She hates flies and snakes. together with Setsuna, she does jobs for the school principal and sometimes Evangeline. In the battle at Kyoto, Tatsumiya came together with Kaede and Ku Fei to fight alongside Negi. Tatsumiya has a "third eye" and can see ghosts and such. During the festival, Tatsumiya is given the job of stopping people from confessing their love as there is a danger in doing so at certian places. She resorts to shooting the people who are confessing. Mana used to be the partner of a Magister Magi and they went around the world to help the needy. However, he died 2years before she came to Mahora. In Mahora, she found a senior who looked a lot like her old partner. So she subsituted a look alike for her dead Master. When the looke alike came to confess his feelings for her, she shot him without batting an eye.
