Shino Asada (朝田詩乃) <em>◊Whenever it is, always check six.◊</em> Shino is a player that Kirito met as soon as he entered GGO (Gun Gale Online). She uses the alias 'Sinon' and entered GGO after being recommended by a friend, in order to conquer her phobia of guns and a certain gun she had used to kill a man who was upholding a bank when she was young. She uses the sniper Ultima Ratio Hecate II in combat and doesn't approve of Kirito using a sword in a gun based game. In-game, she is known to not talk much due to the fact that her character has a high pitched and feminine voice and also dislikes her in-game character, though decided against making a new account because her friend told her it'd be a waste. She wears glasses with no prescription because it makes her feel safe and lives in an apartment by herself.
