Odd jobs trio takes care of your problem, sometimes through laughing and fun and other times by tugging at your heartstrings. SKET Dance creator (Shirohara) is a former assistant of Gintama's creator (Sorachi). It's therefore not surprising to see Sorachi-sensei's influence in SKET Dance. Comedy styles are similar, although Gintama takes everything up to eleven. SKET Dance and Gintama' also have crossover episodes.

DanKou and Gintama share comedic aspects; Gintama and its sequel are superbly funny and Dankou's situational comedy is similar to it. Both the first Gintama series and DanKou share the same director, music director, producer and a number of seiyuu.

Comedies with high level of randomness, surreal/weird situations and references to other anime and pop culture.

An anime very interesting, exciting and funny at the same time.

Meta-humor and absurdity abound in both Gintama and Pop Team Epic. They both make references to other anime, call out their own anime production staff in the middle of the show, and rely heavily on sight-gags and slapstick for the comedy.

Both follow the day-to-day adventures of legendary figures after the major fight, in Gintama's case after the Joui war.

if you like the weird humour of Gintama and just want to have something, less action than I recommend Saint* Oniisan Just Jesus and Buddha hanging out. and Who doesn't like a show That doesn't take itself to serious

* Both are comedy shows which involves parody (Hataraku's parody is more about brands) * There's action in both shows, and the MC are badass. * The MCs from both series were a great leader of a war in past (and both were called demon), but now they have to live a humble (but comedic) life and works to service people. * The MC lives with 3 other people (or animal), 1 of them is a girl. * There is a stalker girl in both series

I found myself laughing hysterically at both of these and sometimes even had to pause the show because I was laughing so hard. I don't do this often and these two were on that same level of funny for me. You must watch them haha

Both have many similar things. To start with, both have an easy going, lazy person as the main character, a straight, simple person to support them, and a girl with monstrous power. They also both have the same kind of comedy.

Both are second seasons of a great parody anime. They are both alike in their comedy and atmosphere. Plus, both have Kugimiya Rie in the main voice acting cast.

If you think of a parody and are a parody anime fan, for a while you will always put HnG and Gintama titles together as great parody anime. Both have the same kind of comedy, randomness, and atmosphere.

Random, episodic, and funny. These two series are among my top picks for the best comedies out there. Prepare for an epic ride of strangeness and parody.

Both are comedy and parody anime. School Rumble has a (parody) samurai battle lol.

Both anime have great comedy with a little bit of drama and have feel good moments mixed in. Both shows also have comedic references to other anime and manga.

Same sort of characters and same sort of comedy. The setting between the feudal era/modern society is similar too. The only difference is that it moves a lot faster.
