My collection for light-hearted romance anime series for romance anime fans. These animes are sweet-tasting vanillas that you can truly enjoy. The premise can be really simple and plain, but they say simplicity is also beauty.

This is the second part of the stack I created which includes all romcom anime I had hunted. Well, 50 entries maximum is not enough to include all romcom anime I know so if you are interested to see what entries are in part 1 you can visit my account and see my created "interest stacks" for the 1st part of this stack. Overflowing with situational comedy, the everyday school life of the most ordinary teenagers, a large number of side characters with various funny gimmicks that create a kind of elusion of the reality of this quirky world. The fun soundtrack, the urban setting, and the vibes of old teen shows from my childhood are one of the most valuable things I love about anime. I've always been particularly fond of big-cast shows like this because of the nostalgic high school atmosphere and sitcom style of humor they provided, so I wanted to create a separate list for that.

For this reason, I tried to avoid fantasy, but still added some examples due to the fact that they still retain the right atmosphere and vibes. Also, some of these shows are high school romance, some are all-male or all-female comedies, so I decided to collect several options at once.

This is a tentative list of anime with romance or romantic subtext that made my cold black heart palpitate.

I have included only the first seasons of shows and stand-alone movies.

It goes without saying that each of these anime is meant to be entertaining. Not all love interests are kind to the protagonists, so do not base your real-life relationship choices on the ones shown here.

A list of anime containing ecchi elements, but are not tagged as ecchi by MAL. While the ecchi content may not be as prevalent or extreme as officially-tagged ecchi titles, there is still enough to be of interest to fans of the ecchi genre. Many of these register at least 1.5/3 stars on AniDB's "tag-weighting" system for ecchi.
Conversely, those who don't care for ecchi may wish to use this stack for cautionary purposes, as these titles may contain things like pantyshots, revealing outfits, incestuous overtones, oversized/jiggling breasts, swimsuit/lingerie moments, extended bath/shower scenes, lewd dream/fantasy sequences, innuendo, or general fanservice in an otherwise serious/"respectable" show.
Only the first seasons of franchises are listed. Some titles may (eventually) have additional details explaining why I've placed them on the list.

This stack is for relatively realistic Slice of Life anime that depicts the daily life of the characters quite realistically and lacks excessive moe or other idealization/objectification of the social groups shown. Of course, taking into account the genre and premise of anime. For example, I defined Hibike as realistic since it's a rather visualy metaphorical anime, but didn't include many other CGDCT shows due to the "girl's zoo" premise.

Every anime featuring the famous line that goes ''What would you prefer first? Dinner? Bath? Or maybe... meee?'' Wording doesn't have to be exact, nor the options, but it must be clear that it is what this is referencing. Entries are in alphabetical order.
