Isekai Ojisan

Both shows parody the logic and cliches of the isekai genre in a rather amusing way, although they are otherwise quite different in terms of style and target audience. 

The core of the plot for these series involve the constant switch between "reality" and a "fantasy/video game-like" world where commentary from one side as well as the actions inside the fantasy world make the series what they are. Also Tsunderes appear.... 

They both are about protagonist who got isekaied with powers and looks so ugly that people consider them monsters. They both are fun to watch. 

Both series have a similar style of comedy and video game references aplenty (Seeeeegaaaaaa). 

Both heroes get rough treatment. Both series have some romance elements. Both heroes get cared for by their allies. The woes of being a hero are shown in both too. They even have characters undergo some comical transformations, and tackle topics like streaming.  

The main characters are both NEET, whose social skills are somewhat lacking. Despite their lack of social skills, they still manage to form bonds with those around them. They also both make a twist to the Isekai plot by doing it a different way. 

Sakamoto and Ojisan are the complete opposite of each other. Sakamoto is the ultimate Gigachad whereas Ojisan is the ultimate NEET. Somehow both are blind to how people act around them. All their actions are framed in a comedic light, but for different reasons. Comic irony at its finest.  

If you like the humors and comedy part of Gintama, then you might also like Iseaki Ojisan. Although, the world is quite different just because Gintama is not an isekai genre, but if you prefer parody/comedy, then you might think of it as their strong similarities. -Gintama has trio MC's (Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura) -Isekai Ojisan has also (Ojisan, Takafumi and his friend Sumika) -Both used insane amounts of reference to other anime, which is parody -Comedy part is also insanely funny.  

Both shows are isekai and both shows are unique in their respective ways. Although Ojisan is set more in the real world, both shows also refer back to the real world/Earth. Many isekai's don't explore the depth that's possible when there are cultural and environmental differences between our world and a fantasy world. Isekai Ojisan does this by show how the MC is traumatized and tries to adjust to the new world in strange ways because his circumstances are unique. Saitou also has unique circumstances where he tries to adjust himself to the otherworld by trying to find fulfillment and make himself useful. Both Ojisan and Saitou find themselves more 'powerful' in another world. While Ojisan is simply more OP in terms of prowess, Saitou learns to apply his unique talents from Earth to the otherworld. The comedy is very similar. Although Ojisan is usually the main joke, the people around Saitou are the people who offer comedy. Both Ojisan and Murlock are creepy old dudes, although Ojisan seems to do those things accidentally. The animation style is a bit uniquely for both shows. Saitou's has a cleaner and slick style, with a gradient color similar to Mushoku Tensei. Isekai Ojisan is drawn less pretty, aside for the girls, and a bit more like a cartoon.  read more 

Op has Realize vibes. Underrated and underutilized theme to go along hand-to-hand with an underrated anime being underproduced. Fitting. 

I see hints of Konosuba and Hi Score Girl no doubt but how about a Ya Boy Kongming recommendation since the uncle is removed from his time in a similar isekai fashion like the legendary military tactician from historic China 

In this recommendation, the reverse-isekai edition. Some aspects fit into each other, and some might not. Here are the similarities: 1. Both series preserved the 'unexpected comedy' in their comedies. 2. Each character is well-developed throughout the series. 3. In each of these series, they give us the spice of love for the two main characters. 4. The background of the two main characters is the opposite of what will happen throughout the series. The dissimilarity: 1. Isekai Ojisan was an adult cast and a parody theme. 2. Isekai Ojisan's animated, not that decent. ***Happy Watching from SBK*** 

Both of them have a nostalgic atmosphere and a soft, sincere connection with the past is established. -They both have really funny jokes. You laugh while watching. -They both have original senses of humor. -Emotional states and reactions are reflected successfully in both of them. They have a fluent course. -Cute drawings and facial expressions are very good in both -You can easily identify with the characters in both of them, and I think it is very important. Two high concept comedies parodying Japanese culture and anime. The Way of the Househusband examines what if a feared yakuza became an honest stay-at-home husband. Uncle from Another World examines what if a man who spent 17 years in another world returns to modern Japan. They have different comedy styles, but that should not stop you from looking into this recommendation. Both series are very straightforward so if this high concept appeals to you then you'll have a good laugh.

in one we have a kuso game and in the other one a kuso isekai. they both have this "realistic" theme. (like; it's a game but you can go to prison and pee yourself // it's an isekai but; cause of your face, you're hunted down as an orc variant ಥ_ಥ ) 

The rope of humor where the heroic good OP character is misunderstood and looked over, and that same character being somewhat obtuse. 

Both shows focus on jokes about boomers being trapped in isekai, with the only difference being that in one show the characters are in isekai and in the other they have already returned from another world.  

Isekai is a very Otaku pandering genre, but these two shows take real life Otaku culture and reference it in and outside the Isekai world; both are very meta. A link between real life Japan - and by extension otaku culture - and the Isekai world. 

Comedy based on taking a tsundere at face value. 

Both are parody on isekai genre.  

Both feature parodies of generic anime tropes. 

How supernatural deities conform themselves to the modern world, and dumb people categorise it as 'Isekai'.
